Jennifer grew up with a love of horses and has been an avid rider since childhood. Originally from a Military family Jennifer grew up in North Carolina, then moved to Grand Island N.Y. where she continued her pursuit in horses. She attended SUNY Morrisville, was a member of the Inter collegiate Equestrian Team and competed her freshman year at IHSA Nationals. She received her associate degree in Agriculture Science, Saddle Horse Management and Production. Jennifer went on to work at BEC and Legacy Equestrians and several other local farms through the years. But found that there was a need for Riding Instruction in the “Back Yard” horse community. JTB Equine Care Solutions was then created. Jennifer continues to teach and consult new riders and horse owners in the decisions of buying their first horses. As an instructor, Jennifer has taught both English and Western styles of riding. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for horses with all her students. Jennifer provides a fun and safe approach in her way of teaching. Which leads to the understanding of balance between the horse and rider. Adding an understanding with the technical side to riding which helps each rider find their own riding goals and abilities in each lesson. All lessons start with basic horsemanship and flat work, then can progress to poles and with a positive attitude can include jumping.
Jennifer- believes every good Instructor needs a trainer! Never giving up her own education, Jennifer continues to ride and with a trainer, attends several horse clinics, horse shows a year and is always reading up on some new horse topic.
Jennifer’s motto is Life gets bumpy, it has many Ups & Downs, either sit and absorb it…or start posting, It’s a smoother ride!
